Morning Prayer for April 19

Dear Heavenly Father, today I woke up again with the gift of this new day, with the wonder of the sunlight, with the wind blowing on my face, and with the immense blessings that you give me, Lord.

I want to thank you, my beloved God, because today my family is with me again because I have a roof over my head. After all, I do not lack food, because the shelter of a home is always within my reach. Thank you, Lord, for all your blessings.

Thank you, blessed God, for being my refuge and support during the night, for watching over me and mine, for protecting us from all evil, from all wickedness, from all those who want to harm us; thank you, beloved Father, for staying by our side during the cold night and nothing disturbed us.

My Lord, I want to thank you because you always take me by the hand, because you allow me to have your guidance and your word. Thank you, my God, because you have given me the ability and the privilege of being able to use my arms and legs, to be able to see, hear, and feel. Thank you, merciful Lord, because I lack nothing this morning because you have been kind to me and my family.

Thank you for loving me, for taking care of me during the nights, and thank you for giving me new dawns. I will never finish thanking you for all that you give me, Lord. You are so great and noble with us, your children, and I love you immensely because you are a just and faithful father.

My beloved God, I beg you that on this new day, give us the joy of enjoying ours so that I may be an instrument of your love, that I may take your example and your words to those who need it most.

I humbly ask you, Father, that if this day is full of trials and challenges, give me the strength and faith to overcome any obstacle, any barrier that stands between me and my dreams, help me most Holy God to have a clear mind, allow me to act with good judgment before any altercation or problem.

Beloved Father, may my feelings of hatred or rancor, greed or selfishness not take hold of me. Allow my soul to be generous towards my brothers. Allow me to be a man worthy to be called your son. Lord, I ask you to give me the courage to face the negatives of life, help me to stand up every time I am knocked down by sorrow or pain, and help me to strengthen others.

Father, make my life what it takes for me to be who you want me to be. I ask that you take me by your hand and that together we may bring your word of salvation to the whole world. Amen, in the name of Jesus Christ.
