Night Prayer for April 11

My Blessed Lord, tonight I place myself in your hands and give you my tired body. I give you my longings, my hopes, and all my worries because my burdens are lighter in your hands. My Lord, you always hear my prayers and do not delay in answering them.

Thank you, my blessed God, for every moment you gave me today. Thank you because everything that comes from you is wise and just. Thank you because you know with total certainty what my life needs and what my soul lacks.

I thank you for each of the blessings you have showered on me this day. It has been a long and tiring day, but being able to recognize your blessings, Lord has allowed me to remain firm and persevering in this world, where every day it becomes more difficult to do the right thing.

You bless me daily with a home, with a roof over my head, and with food that is never missing from my table, but without a doubt, the greatest blessing is to have a family, to have people who love me and I love them, to embrace them and express my infinite love, because that is what you teach me, Father of Goodness. You have taught me to love others without asking for anything in return.

I love you, Lord; you are the noblest, most just, most loving, wisest, and most benevolent father, and that is why I ask you, trusting in you, to give me your protection tonight, for me and for those around me, for all my brothers; I wish that we all sleep well tonight and that nothing separates us from Your sacred presence.

I ask you, Father of my heart, that tonight you may grant me the rest I need. May you watch over my dreams and keep away the nightmares and demons that want to prevent my rest.

May you, King of my life, bless the little ones. May you take care of them and protect them. May the evil of this world not fall upon them. May all, for tonight, rest in peace knowing that you protected them.

Please give me, Lord, the gift of your forgiveness, because I am not a perfect man because throughout the day I have unintentionally hurt some people. After all, I have done things that I am not proud of, but of which I repent, and I ask you from my heart to forgive me, so I can sleep knowing that I have a new opportunity to do things better. All this I ask my Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
